Biography

David L. Mills began his career as an attorney in 1989 and represents clients in both criminal and civil litigation matters. His primary areas of practice include criminal defense, business litigation, and personal injury, including motor vehicle accidents. During his 30-plus years of trial practice, Mr. Mills has obtained not guilty verdicts in several high-profile murder, rape, and assault trials.

Before entering private practice, Mr. Mills worked as an Assistant Missouri State Public Defender and a District Public Defender, allowing him many opportunities to refine his trial skills. Mr. Mills is a graduate of the National Criminal Defense College and the Western Trial Advocacy Institute and belongs to several local and national organizations. He is a member of the Missouri Bar, the Missouri Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
